We work in partnership with referring OB/GYNs, primary care providers, and women’s health specialists throughout North Iowa. Every procedure is part of a coordinated care plan centered on your health history, future goals, and personal preferences.
The procedures we offer are performed on an outpatient basis, so you’ll return home the same day with clear recovery instructions and continued support from your provider. Our team is here to ensure that even a single, focused procedure feels like part of a thoughtful, well-supported care experience.
Gynecologic Surgery Performed at Mason City Surgery Center
- Tubal ligation: This is a permanent form of birth control that closes or removes the fallopian tubes to prevent pregnancy. It may be performed alone or alongside other procedures to evaluate or treat uterine conditions.
- Tubal ligation with hysteroscopy: During some tubal ligation procedures, a hysteroscopy may be performed to examine the inside of the uterus. This minimally invasive technique allows your surgeon to identify and treat abnormalities with precision.
- Tubal ligation with endometrial ablation: In select cases, your surgeon may perform an endometrial ablation along with tubal ligation to help reduce or stop heavy menstrual bleeding. This involves removing or destroying the uterine lining without removing the uterus itself.

I was fortune to be able to have my shoulder surgery at the Mason City Surgery Center today. My medical staff was excellent with my care, and was able to even deal with my sense of humor likes champs.
